Some people look forward to May because school's almost out or they like to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. All that stuff is great but I mark the calendar for May for the most glamorous, artistic, overly extra event of the year. The Met Gala.
I had my chance to visit the MET and dream of the day I'll attend fashion and art's most exclusive event. Hailee Steinfeld even wore a dress similar to my prom dress to the 2014 Met Gala!
This year’s theme is 'Camp: Notes on Fashion’. Inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay ‘Notes on ‘Camp’. Sontag describes “camp” as “the metaphor of life as theater”. This theme isn’t going to be as easy as the heaven and hell theme. It’s going to take some real creativity to blow minds!
Lady Gaga is this year's host and she did not come to play! She has already had 4 outfit changes! Yass Gaga!
