Palau de la musica catalana pillars

Sorry mom, but I'm never leaving this place. Barcelona has been a dream! First there was Park Güell and now a tour through the Palau de la Música Catalana. I originally only wanted to get pictures with the famous mosaic pillars, but you can't enter the building without being a part of a tour or attending a show. I'm so glad I opted to do the tour because the inside was just as beautiful as the outside.

If you needed motivation to always keep your head up, then look up at this ceiling. Palau de la Música Catalana has been the hiding this gem of a ceiling for over 100 years. The whole thing is stained glass and it's the only concert hall to be completely illuminated by natural light! Imagine listening to a symphony under this beauty on a bright, Summer day! I had the privilege to listen in on the orchestra's rehearsal and see this concert hall come alive.

My outfit need a little life too. I added statement cross earring and a Spanish fan. Both accessories added the desired sassy, classy, Latin flare I wanted. The gold and intricate detailing of the earrings accented the lace and gold accents on the fan. They may be small, but these accessories add a big punch!
