Under My Umbrella
I was blessed to spend this beautiful day in Third Ward Houston. The culture and art throughout the area feels like love. People walk up to you and start talking as if you were old friends. Shop owners hug you upon entry to make you feel welcome. It was an unforgettable day spent with my neighborhood family.
I wanted to feel sexy and chic while I strutted down Emancipation Park. The summer breeze accented the fluidity of my Fashion Nova top while I kept my mom jeans simple and clean. The accessories have to be my favorite part. I mean they're always my favorite. Accessories make or break a look. I had to wear my Yandy feathered mules to provide movement and the pastel pink was so Barbie chic! My go-to Zara handbag always comes in clutch. I recommend a black and white stripe for any closet must have.
The red umbrella was a last minute thought. The heat was almost unbearable so I opened an umbrella to block out the heat. I fell in love with the pop of color and artistic look it added. I'll definitely be keeping more umbrellas in the car for future impromptu photo shoots!
